What we collect, and when

When you book a delivery

If you are sending to someone else, you are giving us their details. Please make sure they are content for you to do that, because we will contact them about the delivery.

When you create an account

When you apply to ride or drive for us

Riders carry other people's property, so we check who they are. We collect:

If you name a guarantor or next of kin, tell them first. We may call them to confirm they know you.

How long we keep it

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to:

Email hello@goflow.com.ng and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

Keeping it safe

Identity documents are held in private storage that the public cannot reach. Our database restricts what each kind of account can read, so a customer cannot read rider records and a rider cannot read another rider's. Connections to our site are encrypted.

No system is perfect. If something goes wrong that affects you, we will tell you and the Commission as the law requires.

Children

GoFlow is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be told to account holders by email.

A note on this document. It was written to describe accurately how GoFlow's systems handle data. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before relying on it, have a Nigerian legal practitioner check it against the NDPA 2023 and your registration obligations with the NDPC.
